It snowed this morning!! Thankfully, it was the kind of snow that covered my skylights but not my driveway, so no shoveling was involved. And now, the sun is out and the sky is blue. What a beautiful day.
Chase and I went to church this morning and then went out to lunch with our small group. What a great group of friends our small group is! So supportive and kind...we have certainly enjoyed the friendships we have made at our church and especially with these three other families. Our small group is unique in that we have our Bible study once a month and the other meeting per month we do a service project. Those service projects have really blessed all of our families, especially our kids who often are so busy with their own activities, they don't have time to stop and consider needs and wants of people in the community. The service projects have opened all of our eyes in ways we could not have imagined. It's amazing how great the blessings are that come our way when we are blessing others!
I'm not feeling amusing today, sorry! I'm trying to keep this fairly light-hearted, but today I'm feeling kind of melancholy. Not sad, not depressed, not even blue, just kind of reflective and...melancholy. If you have any, send any spare prayers our way. Prayers for what, you ask? I don't know - I guess if you were to pray for only one thing, it's wisdom. Our options are wide open and we aren't sure of the right way to turn at the moment. Pray for God's wisdom and direction for our family. We love all of you guys, and stay tuned! I'm sure to be funnier tomorrow... :)

Hi Susie--I am glad to know we have not lost track of you this time!! :) I know how hard moving can be but I always try to look at it as an opportunity for something great to happen. You never know what good things the change will bring. I'll be thinking about you.
Love, Gwen
You are entitled to be any way you want to be. No one can be witty and clever all the time (oops...sorry...didn't mean to burst your bubble). In fact, you are even entitled to be downright grumpy at times!
Will definitely be praying. God does have everything under control; sometimes it's just hard for us to see the "forest" for all the "trees" that keep getting in the way.
love you!
Hi SueAnne--Greetings from GB. I hope this works, I've never blogged b4. You are in our prayers. In a year from now you will look back and it may be more apparent what God's plan was. I'll pray you have wisdom to know the right path and strength to follow it. Love, Kim
